Spotkanie świąteczne
Blisko 200 osób wzięło udział w spotkaniu świątecznym zorganizowanym 15 grudnia 2023 w warszawskim hotelu DoubleTree by Hilton. Wśród zaproszonych gości byli Członkowie Zarządu i Rady Nadzorczej GPM „Vindexus”, pracownicy, współpracownicy, partnerzy, klienci, kontrahenci i przyjaciele firmy. W imieniu Zarządu i Rady Nadzorczej gości przywitał Jan Kuchno, Prezes Zarządu GPM „Vindexus”: - Wszystkim z Państwa życzę zdrowia i spokoju w tych trudnych czasach. Żyjemy wszyscy w przededniu nowej rewolucji technologicznej, życzę, abyście odnaleźli tam swoje miejsce. Niech magia Świąt Bożego Narodzenia pozwoli spełnić Państwu wszystkie marzenia - mówił Jan Kuchno. Do zebranych zwrócił się również Artur Zdunek, Członek Zarządu: - Rok 2023 na pewno był rokiem ciekawym, w którym nie było miejsca na nudę, pomimo tego, że ominęły nas takie „atrakcje” jak epidemia czy kolejna rewolucja w przepisach dotyczących naszej branży. Ten mijający rok bardzo mocno pokazał, że wielką wartością jest praca zespołowa. Wynik, jaki finalnie osiągamy jako zespół, to składowa pracy wszystkich Was. Na sukces składa się przede wszystkim Wasza codzienna praca i zaangażowanie, to, jak walczycie z problemami. Rok 2023 obfitował w wyzwania, ale teraz już możemy powiedzieć, że był udany. To przede wszystkim Wasza zasługa. Bardzo dziękuję za Waszą pracę i wkład w sukces naszej Grupy. Z kolei Andrzej Jankowski, Członek Zarządu Spółki, przedstawił plany dotyczące rozwoju technologicznego: - Zeszły rok, zresztą tak jak ipoprzednie, to rok sukcesu spółki. I to czynnik ludzki, a nie informatyka, która oczywiście pomaga nam w pewnych czynnościach, był najważniejszy. Mogę zapewnić, że w przyszłym roku Zarząd będzie wspierał działania dążące do cyfryzacji tych czynności, które są żmudne, biurowe, które zakłócają rytm naszej pracy. Głos zabrał także Piotr Kuchno, Przewodniczący Rady Nadzorczej. Podziękował wszystkim za wspólną pracę w 2023 roku: - Dzięki niej, udało nam się osiągnąć wiele zamierzonych celów. Wyniki finansowe, wskaźniki, liczby - to wszystko jest ważne, bo potwierdza efektywność działania, a jednocześnie pozwala dalej funkcjonować. Ale bardzoistotne jest, abyśmy tworzyli zgrany zespół ludzi zmierzający w tym samym kierunku. W tym zakresie, w mijającym roku, osiągnęliśmy wiele. Zmiana nazw funduszy obsługiwanych przez GPM „Vindexus” S.A.
W związku ze zmianami w ustawie z dnia 27 maja 2004 roku o funduszach inwestycyjnych i zarządzaniu alternatywnymi funduszami inwestycyjnymi wprowadzonymi ustawą z dnia 16 sierpnia 2023 roku o zmianie niektórych ustaw w związku z zapewnieniem rozwoju rynku finansowego oraz ochrony inwestorów na tym rynku, zgodnie z którymi począwszy od dnia wejścia w życie ustawy zmieniającej dotychczasowe „niestandardowe fundusze sekurytyzacyjne” mają obowiązek używać w nazwie zwrotu „niestandardowe fundusze wierzytelności”, wskazujemy, że nastąpiła zmiana nazw obsługiwanych przez Giełdę Praw Majątkowych „Vindexus” S.A. funduszy. It''s a golden age for WSE-listed debt collection companies
Vindexus is one of the smaller companies of the debt sector that is worth your attention. Over the last five years the value of the debt company’s shares grew by almost 400%. It comes as no surprise, as the debt collector''s net revenue went up in this period from PLN 31.8 mln to PLN 58 mln last year and the profit nearly doubled (from PLN 11.5 mln to PLN 20.7).

Doing away with bank enforcement orders will make the proceedings more uniform for banks and other creditors, but it will cost debtors more, as they may be required to pay up to 5% of debt value in court fees. More debt will be sold, which is good news for the debt recovery sector. On the other hand, the fact that citizens will no longer be obliged to register for residence, may exacerbate the problems related to recoverability of debt.

Focus on prudence and transparency – this is the key element of the Vindexus Group''s strategy according to its Directors. The Group has been listed on WSE’s main market for five years now. Based on the Group’s report for the fourth quarter, 2013 has been a year of "continued growth". This is almost twice as much as in the corresponding period of 2010 and confirms the predictions that this year may turn out to be particularly successful for debt collectors.

The debt recovery industry is doing well. In two years’ time, its value may exceed PLN 20 bln. After four quarters of 2010, Vindexus, the debt collection company, generated PLN 4 mln in net profit. The result was 20% higher than the year before.

Debt can make you money
At the end of December, the balance sheet total generated by GPM Vindexus amounted to PLN 94 mln, representing a nearly 20% growth YoY. The Company plans to continue expanding its operations. In the first quarter Vindexus intends to buy telecommunications and banking debt with the nominal value of PLN 230 mln.

Vindexus buys retail loans
Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus, a stock-listed debt collection company, has acquired a portfolio of retail bank loans worth PLN 230 mln. The debts were purchased by a securitisation fund owned by the Company. The size of the transaction is quite substantial, and this not only for Vindexus which is a relatively small company. The value of the portfolio is high, even in the context of the entire banking market. The portfolio that will be managed by Vindexus includes more than 12.7 thousand retail loans. Out of the PLN 230 mln worth of debt, PLN 180 mln correspond to the principal, while PLN 50 mln - to the interest. The loans acquired by the fund date back to the years 2007-2008.

Stragglers that make a lot of money for their investors
Analysts have identified the stragglers that may put a lot of money in the pockets of their investors. These include: Bioton, Ferro, Midas, Polskie Jadło, Sfinks and Vindexus. We have witnessed rapid growth over the last two years. The bull market that started on 17 February 2009 has increased the broad market index by 100%. During this period, the record-breaking companies on the WSE have made a lot of money for their investors. Recently, we have been observing an upward trend in share prices which almost reached the peak of PLN 6.1 that was noted in September. Breaking through this barrier will open up new possibilities.

GPM Vindexus: Directors decide to launch a public offering
The Management Board of the debt market company has decided to issue shares worth PLN 5.2 mln. The maximum number of the shares offered will be 1 million. The price was set at PLN 5.2/share.

Public transport fares to be paid with interest.
Fair evaders’ debt worth millions of zlotys More and more frequently, they are purchased from operators by debt collection companies. Every month controllers catch 4-5 thousand fare dodgers on buses and trams. When they are not able to recover their dues, public transport operators sell debt to professional collecting companies. Recently this has been done by PKP S.A. which decided to sell debts of fare dodgers dating back to a few years ago. (...). The debts of fare dodgers was purchased by the WSE-listed company GPM Vindexus.

GIEŁDA: Debt collector to pursue seven-years old unpaid debt. The General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in a month. A new issue is coming. More funds needed: GPM is preparing another issue of shares to raise funds with which to finance the purchase of more debt. CEO Jerzy Kulesza is negotiating with an investor willing to purchase all of the one million shares.

They will recover debt from fare evaders.
The WSE-listed debt collection company GPM Vindexus has purchased customer debt from the Polish National Railways (PKP). These are unpaid train fares. The PKP sold GPM Vindexus a package of debt worth around PLN 32 mln. It covers 66 thousand debtors and the average debt value is almost PLN 500. Moreover, GPM Vindexus has been asked by PKP to recover PLN 39 mln from 73 thousand debtors who didn’t pay their train fare. – It’s our first mandate contract of this size – say Jerzy Kulesza, CEO GPM Vindexus, in an interview with “Parkiet”.

The Company to acquire debt from Bank Handlowy
WSE-listed Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus has acquired Bank Handlowy''s debt resulting from loan agreements. The nominal value of the debt is PLN 125 mln. In addition to the collection of debt on its own account, GPM Vindexus currently manages securitised debt totalling PLN 330 mln.

The Management Board of the WSE-listed company Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus S.A. has decided to register its debtors with the National Debtors’ Register. Debt collection companies can take advantage of this possibility as secondary creditors, following the passing of the Act on sharing and exchange of economic data which came into force on 14 June 2010. Under the current law, every creditor may enter their debtor into the Register after 30 days from sending the appropriate notice.

“Vindexus” makes a successful stock market debut
Crisis is the time for debt collectors. It doesn’t, then, come as a surprise that under the leadership of CEO Jerzy Kulesza Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus has made a successful debut on the WSE. At the beginning of the session, the shares were bought for PLN 6.50, or 8.3% above the reference price. Mid-session the prices grew by 33% to finish the day 30% above the initial price. The Company generated PLN 1.75 mln which it intends to use to cover the purchase of debts and to cover the costs of their recovery.

Debt can make you money
Although the Initial Public Offering didn’t draw many investors willing to acquire share certificates of GPM Vindexus, a debt market company, its debut on the main market of the GPE was a success. At the end of the day, the price of shares went up by 30%. During the day, the value of the certificates increased by as much as 50%. The Company got off to a good start. Initially, the shares were offered at the price of PLN 6.5 compared to the reference price of PLN 6/share.

We know the issue price
The Management Board of Giełda Praw Majątkowych “Vindexus” has allocated its series I shares. The investors acquired 291,938 shares, each worth PLN 6. The value of the offering amounted to PLN 1,751,628. In total, the Company intends to list 10,591,938 shares. All in all, GPM Vindexus has offered 2.5 mln shares to its investors. 248,331 of these were acquired by institutional investors, while 43,607 - by individual investors.

GPM Vindexus: the price of shares set at PLN 6 - PLN 9.
The IPO price of shares of Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus, specialising in the purchase and sale of debt and the provision of debt collection services, has been set at PLN 6 - PLN 9 per share. As a result, the maximum value of the offer, which covers the issue of 2.5 mln new shares, may reach as much as PLN 22.5 mln gross. The book-building process will be held between 12 and 16 December and bids can be submitted from 18 to -22 December. The IPO will be organised by IDMSA Brokerage House as the lead underwriter. The Company predicts that in 2008 it will double its net profit to PLN 5.89 mln from PLN 3.00 in 2007, operating income - to PLN 8.07 mln from PLN 4.24 mln, and revenue - to 17.70 mln from PLN 11.43 mln.

According to the Annex to the Prospectus of Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus, as part of the book-building process the Company will be accepting bids from PLN 6 to PLN 9. The book-building process will be held between 12 and 16 December and bids can be submitted from 18 to 22 December. The Company will offer 2.5 mln shares, including 2 mln to institutional investors and 0.5 mln shares to individual investors. The funds raised as part of the IPO will be used to buy new debt or to cover the costs of debt recovery.
