GPM „Vindexus” S.A. makes successful stock market debut

The value of share certificates of the Company Giełda Praw Majątkowych “Vindexus” S.A., making their debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today, has increased by 8.3% at the opening of the trading session - to PLN 6.50 per share. It it the third debut on the WSE this year.

The issue price was determined at PLN 6 per share. The value of the offering amounted to more than PLN 1.75 mln. The IPO was organised by IDMSA Brokerage House as the lead underwriter.

All in all, the Company has offered 2.5 mln shares to its investors. 248,331 of these were acquired by institutional investors, while 43,607 - by individual investors.

Giełda Praw Majątkowych „Vindexus” S.A. has been operating on the debt market for more than 13 years. The Company offers a wide range of services including the purchase and sale of debt and property rights, commissioned debt collection, and financial intermediation. Vindexus is also a servicer of a securitisation fund. For many years GPM Vindexus S.A. has specialised in the purchase of entire packages of overdue and undisputed debt and in debt collection on own account. The funds generated as part of the offering will be used to cover the purchase of new debt packages.

- The present economic situation leads to many debt packages appearing on the market at lower prices. Metaphorically speaking, for us the period of economic slow-down is the sowing time – I am sure that the investments in debt packages that we are currently making will bring us a very good return in a relatively short period of time – adds Mr. Kulesza.
