- The decision to support Damian Budzik and his “hacky sack” team came very naturally to us.  We strive to help our employees not only to grow and to develop but also to excel in what they’re passionate about - says Artur Zdunek, a member  of the GPM Vindexus’ Management Board. Mr Zdunek is talking about the support extended by our company to the sportsmen from the Warsaw Footbag Association. We became the official partner of the team, which has Damian Budzik, our employee, as one of its members.

The funding provided by GPM “Vindexus” helped to finance a few months’ worth of training for the entire team, rental of a training field and the purchase of professional uniforms worn by our colleague''s team during training sessions and the World Footbag Championships. This year the event was held in Warsaw (29/07-3/08/2019). It was attended by more than 130 players from all over the world.
- The Championship was a great success for me personally, and for the players of the Warsaw
Footbag Association. I took the second and third place and the team won 12 medals altogether. You could say that the Poles dominated most of the games. We could achieve these results thanks to the hard work we had put into training as well as the support from Giełda Praw Majątkowych Vindexus S.A.

Damian Budzik, the Deputy Call Centre Manager at GPM “Vindexus”,  has been a footbag player  for 20years. He has won a lot of prizes and distinctions, including numerous medals at the Polish Footbag Championship. He is also a European champion and a silver medallist of the World Footbag Championships. He dreams of founding a school to teach children, teens and adults to play the “hacky sack”. Recently there has been a revival of interest in this discipline, or - to be more accurate - a form of free-time activity which dates back to the pre-smartphone era. To keep it short and simple,  footbag is a game in which players kick a small bag  filled with plastic pellets into the air, trying to keep it off the ground.

- A good employee is someone who feels happy and satisfied, who has a satisfying life outside of their work. We are very happy that we got the chance to support our colleague in his training and his start at the World Footbag Championship, especially that his discipline might not be very popular yet but it''s certainly spectacular  – says Artur Zdunek, a member of the Management Board of GPM “Vindexus”.
